Following the acquisition of the Menzies Chequers hotel near Gatwick in August 2007 we have undertaken a major refurbishment programme to create a new contemporary feel throughout and upgrade the hotel to four-star status The spacious lounge has a contemporary and relaxed atmosphere whilst the Chequers Pub offers a more traditional English pub environment in which to dine or relax. The stylish new Brasserie restaurant provides a superb dining experience offering freshly created dishes and wines from around the world.The hotel is ideal for both business and leisure guests and the close proximity to the motorway network makes the Menzies Chequers Gatwick the ideal choice for airport stopovers. Parking is available for residents (subject to daily charge). The 2 mile airport taxi transfer is at a time convenient to you at a pre-arranged price of 6.00 per journey. Reception will provide you with a number to call on your return journey we suggest you call on arrival in baggage claim the taxi should be with you when you reach the arrivals hall.
