16th Century Freehouse in the heart of the English countryside with beamed ceilings, log fires and cask ales. The Cricketers has won an English Tourist Board Silver Award and has a well known restaurant, recommended in all major guide books. Close to Stansted Airport, Audley End House, Cambridge and the Newmarket race track. This country pub is where T.V chef Jamie Oliver grew up. Although he no longer cooks at the Cricketers, this is where he first started to cook, from the age of eight, under the guidance of his parents, the owners, Trevor and Sally Oliver.
